The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering of the Georgia Institute of Technology is considering applicants for a tenure track faculty member at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level for its European campus of Georgia Tech Lorraine in Metz, France.

Applications will be entertained in the areas related to multiscale computational mechanics of materials (spanning atomisticsto mesoscale to macroscale), materials design employing emerging concepts in data analytics and sciences, and multiscale materials characterization and imaging. Research on the GT-Lorraine campus is carried under the umbrella of the Georgia Tech –CNRS Unite MixteInternationaleUMI 2958. The position requires a balance of teaching and research. All instruction at Georgia Tech Lorraine is in English. To ensure effective collaboration in the European community, proficiency or willing to become proficient in French is a desired skill.
