What is it like to be Transgender at Tech? Join the LGBTQIA Resource Center and the Student Center Monday, November 16th at 5:30pm in the Student Center Ballroom for Transgender @ Tech: a special workshop and discussion on understanding the Transgender community.

By attending this workshop, you'll be able describe the main challenges facing trans communities at Tech and beyond, know how to use appropriate language specific to the transgender community, and identify strategies to practice allyship and create inclusive spaces on campus. 

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the issues Transgender folks face here at Georgia Tech and throughout the world. Seating, popcorn, and giveaways are first come, first served. This event, in honor of Trans Day of Remembrance is brought to you by the LGBTQIA Resource Center, Student Center, and the Office of Diversity Programs.
