President G.P. “Bud” Peterson has appointed an advisory group to review Georgia Tech’s student judicial process and procedures.
The committee has been charged with examining the current individual and organizational conduct policies with a particular focus on the processes and procedures to ensure they are consistent with the best practices in place across the University System of Georgia and the country. The overarching purpose of the review is to ensure students and recognized student organizations receive fair and equitable treatment and protections under Tech’s Student Code of Conduct.
President Peterson has asked Nels Peterson (no relation), chief legal officer and secretary to the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents, to chair the working group. Other members include:
