There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Innovation & Design Collaborative is funding an interdisciplinary collaboration between LMC and the Industrial Design program. IDC invited submissions for interdisciplinary courses, and Professor Krystina Madej (LMC) approached Wayne Li (director of IDC) with the suggestion for a course that combined her Experimental Games course (4730) with ID's Interactive Lab course (3510). The new course (LMC4813/ID4823), which combines experimentation in game design with prototyping interactive technologies such as sensors, is currently underway in the Fall 2015 semester with Prof. Madej teaching and GRA Clement Zheng of ID providing prototyping and technology expertise.
