LMC assistant professor Brian N. Larson was invited to give a talk titled “Digital media and cyberlaw update” at the national legal conference of the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS). CMLS is the the trade association of the real estate MLS industry in North America, now supporting 178 member organizations that serve more than one million subscribers. He gave the talk on October 7 in Kansas City. Larson discussed the impact of legal developments on digital media during 2014-15, focusing on developments in copyright and patent law, privacy, telecommunications, contracts, gaming, and other related topics.
