APPLY NOW! APPLICATIONS FOR CENTENNIAL ACADEMY SPRING 2016 INTERNSHIP NOW AVAILABLE
Complete application packet deadline: October 26, 2015 by 11:59PM.
Yet another experiential learning opportunity from Pre-Teaching! The Pre-Teaching Spring 2016 internship at Centennial Academy (former Centennial Place Elementary), a K-8 problem-based inquiry learning charter school in Atlanta Public Schools (APS) system, provides a Georgia Tech undergraduate student the opportunity to support a teacher in the Mathematics or Science (earth, life or physical). The specific discipline focus of the internship will be dependent upon the applicant. The emphasis of the experience will be on meeting the needs of a wide spectrum of learners including those with learning and behavioral challenges.
The internship will be 20 hour/week for 16 weeks and qualify for six audit credit hours. The audit credit hours are academic place holders towards full-time student status, which means you only need six academic credit hours for full-time status. You must register the internship to qualify for the placeholder.
Eligibility
All applicants are required to discuss the impact of the experience on planned graduation dates with an academic advisor and to discuss possible conflicts with financial aid policies with a financial aid advisor (if applicable).
Deadline: October 26, 2015 by 11:59PM
