Navigating the ‘New Normal’ in Energy Regulation

Energy-intensive industries face numerous new air, water, and environmental regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other federal agencies that will affect how industries produce and use energy and dispose of its byproducts. This panel discussion will provide an overview of the new standards, and discuss the cost implications of compliance, as well as challenges and competitive opportunities that the current regulatory environment creates for the region.

The Metro Atlanta Energy Series is a monthly networking and educational event presented by the Georgia Tech Strategic Energy Institute and the Metro Atlanta Chamber. The series is designed to bring the Atlanta community together to discuss the trends, technologies, and policies that are shaping the national and regional energy landscape.
