2015 Magnetic Resonance Workshop @ Georgia Tech

*********************************
There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Summaries

Summary Sentence: An overview of MR applications in science and engineering and experimental capabilities at Georgia Tech.

Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

The aim of this workshop is to:

  • Foster the collaboration and communication between all researchers and laboratories at Georgia Tech and neighboring universities working with the closely related techniques NMR spectroscopy and MRI.
  • Help researchers to get started using Magnetic Resonance in their research.
  • Allow advanced students and post-docs to showcase their research.

The core of the workshop will be a “mini symposium” with a variety of short talks covering MR applications ranging from functional MRI over Biochemistry to Material Sciences.

This is the opportunity to learn about NMR and MRI and ask questions!

PRELIMINARY AGENDA

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Symposium, featuring applications of NMR and MRI

Participation is free, however REGISTRATION is required.

This year’s workshop is organized by Anant Paravastu and Johannes Leisen.
