Speaker: Mr. Chris Lybeer, Chief Innovation Officer, Kredible Technologies, Inc.

Seminar Title: Why Technology Does Not Equal Innovation

Abstract:
We’ll explore the challenges of innovation – it’s a hot and often discussed topic, that very very few companies are doing consistently well.  We’ll also touch on the differences between a large and a small company, along with some tips on how to approach your career

Speaker Bio:
Chris Lybeer is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at Kredible, a start up delivering a Saas platform to improve your digital persona and the power of your digital network. Previously Mr. Lybeer was Vice President of Strategic Development for NCR Corporation. His previous role focused on driving all Marketing and Mobile Solutions for the NCR Retail Division. Prior to that, Chris was with Radiant Systems from late stage start up stage to nearly $400M in revenue before they were purchased by NCR in September of 2011. He served in a wide variety of roles during that time, including EVP of Product Development, President/GM over industry segments for Specialty Retail and Entertainment, and EVP of M&A during heavy company growth phases. Chris's career has largely been focused on driving the next wave of innovation into the product lines through the creation of new markets, with a special emphasis on consumer experience, often through mobility. Much of his work also focused on partnering in many of the new ecosystems being created, including payments, mobility, and analytics.  Chris spent 12 years with NCR prior to his time at Radiant, working in development, quality assurance, product management, and eventually leading NCR's retail software organization. Chris has a computer engineering degree from the University of Michigan and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
