GoSTEM at Georgia Tech, in partnership with the Latin American Association, presents a professional development conference for K-12 teachers entitled “Bridging the STEM Educational Gap for Latinos in Georgia.”
Keynote lectures by Latino leaders in STEM, including Dr. Julián Rímoli, Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech and Luz Rivas, Founder and Excecutive Director of DYI Girls, Los Angeles, CA.
Workshops facilitated by the University of Georgia's LISELL-B Project, Georgia State University's Bio-Bus Program, Georgia Power, and CEISMC-Georgia Tech. Topics will include:
