Summary Sentence: Students present developing cybersecurity research at the 2015 Georgia Tech Cyber Security Summit.

Full Summary:

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to present developing research in support of cybersecurity at Fall Demo Day -- hosted by the Institute for Information Security & Privacy (IISP).

During this poster session held in conjunction with the 13th Annual Georgia Tech Cyber Security Summit, public attendees will vote upon which student projects are the most compelling. The top posters receiving the most public votes will be invited back for Spring Demo Day -- when students deliver a TED-style talk before a panel of venture capitalists and industry representatives. Students receive a critique of their project, suggestions for preparing the idea for commercialization, and the opportunity to speak privately with venture capitalists about funding their work. Finalists at Spring Demo Day also are eligible for cash prizes.

To participate, students must be enrolled in the College of Computing, Scheller College of Business, or School of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Work should reflect one of the core research areas of the IISP found at http://www.iisp.gatech.edu. Participants may begin by registering at www.iisp.gatech.edu/demo-day and by preparing a poster for the Fall Demo Day preliminary round on Oct. 28.
