On July 1, 2015 Brian Magerko was interviewed on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s “On Second Thought.” He discussed what EarSketch is and how it is used in US schools, especially in Georgia. Designed to teach computer science by making music, EarSketch aims to broaden the range of students who are engaged in programming. Students code in Python or JavaScript to create their own songs. A former teacher collaborator at Lanier High School, Mike Reilly, joined the discussion to talk about its success in his courses.
