No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Celebrate National Sewing Month at Paper & Clay by learning the very first steps of sewing from our sewing instructor, Joan Saunders, in our Sewing Orientation sessions. If you have absolutely no idea how to sew, Joan will teach you what you need to know about the machine to feel comfortable using the machine for a basic stitch. In these 45 minute sessions, you’ll learn how to thread the machine and how the machine works for only $15 per person. Sessions are offered twice a day at 12 and 2 pm for several days throughout September on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. But due to limited machines in Paper & Clay, the sessions will fill up quickly! Participants need to register for a session at least 24 hours in advance by e-mailing gtpaperandclay@gatech.edu and tell us what day and time of session you want to attend. There are a lot of days, but register soon before they fill up!
