Here's what we learned about her:

Karla Hafford, OD, earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University in 1999. She spent ten years within the pharmaceutical industry, at the contract laboratory PPD, performing testing and interpretation of data on medications against FDA guidelines.

In May 2014, she graduated from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, College of Optometry, and received the Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care from the American Optometric Foundation Supported by Johnson & Johnson Vision Care.

In July 2015, she moved from Albuquerque, NM, to Georgia, joining the Georgia Tech DePoe Eye Center.

Professionally, she enjoys seeing a variety of patients but her area of interest is in fitting contact lenses.

Personally, her free time is spent doing stained glass, running, traveling, watching the Green Bay Packers, trying new restaurants, and meeting new people.

Be one of those new people Dr. Hafford meets by taking a minute and welcoming her to campus!
