The 2008 Workshop on Sparsity in High Dimensional Statistics and Learning Theory is held in Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA, from March 22 to March 24, 2007. This workshop provides a forum to discuss the most cutting edge development in high dimensional inferences and learning theory. Sixteen leading experts from various areas including Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and statistics are invited to deliver speeches in the workshop, which are designed to serve as catalysts for further discussions about the frontier of this highly active and interdisciplinary field.
