There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Engineers for a Sustainable World will be giving back to the Atlanta community on September 12th by helping out at the local Truly Living Well community garden. Truly Living Well (TLW) is much more than just a garden-- the fresh fruits and vegetables grown there feed the surrounding community with fresh, healthy, and affordable produce (which is not readily available in all parts of Atlanta), and also provides jobs for the many locals working there. In addition, Georgia Tech's Biology Department has partnered up with TLW to perform key urban farming research on aquaponics and closed loop cycles.
On September 12th, we ask that you join us in helping keep this community garden well kept and thriving. If interested in participating, please email Nicole Kennard at nicolejjk.17@gatech.edu by September 8th so that car pool from GT can be organized (it's about a 10 minute drive).
