No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Post Office Extended HoursThe start of the semester is always a busy time for students, so this year the Georgia Tech Post Office is looking to make life a little easier with extended hours at the package pickup window!
Beginning August 24th, the package pickup window will be open the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30am-7:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am-Noon
Extended hours will run until Thursday, September 3rd to allow students more time to pickup packages.
Additionally, the Post Office has recently implemented a new package tracking system that will mean faster lines at the window! Students should remember to bring their BuzzCard when picking up a package.
“Between the extended hours and the newly streamlined package processing, we expect package pickup to be much quicker and smoother for students, “ says Gwenda Bryant, Mail Services Manager for Georgia Tech Postal Services.
