There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. Nashlie Sephus, GT ECE alumna and current successful CTO, Dr. Sephus will answer questions and speak about career strategies.
While studying at Tech, had several internships and research experiences with companies and research labs, such as the GE Research Center, GE Energy, Delphi, and IBM.While at Georgia Tech, she has volunteered, tutored, and mentored both high school and undergraduate students in research. As a doctoral student researcher in the Center for Signal/Information Processing (CSIP) at Georgia Tech, Nashlie has done projects related to speech signal processing as well as music information retrieval (MIR). Her other areas of research include source separation, speaker identification, onset detection methods, and speaker modeling for automatic audio-video tagging using statistical models.
