There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. EcoCAR 3 is part of the US Department of Energy's Advanced Vehicle Technology Competition, in which 16 universities are challenged to redesign a Chevy Camaro into a hybrid-electric vehicle. The Georgia Tech team is seeking motivated students to help design the vehicle and represent the Institute in this competition.

All majors from all years are invited.

EcoCAR 3 GT is comprised of 30 engineers, 3 faculty advisors, and 1 communications manager that will embark on an ambitious journey to transform a Chevrolet Camaro into a hybrid electric vehicle. We are an organization that is primarily student led and with this we are creating the next generation of automative engineers. Our goals are to increase fuel efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while maintaining the performance and appeal of this iconic American vehicle.
