Sharon Johnston is a founder and Principal of Johnston Marklee. Employing her wide-ranging knowledge of diverse architectural practices, Sharon builds and directs distinguished collaborative teams tailored to each specific project. Working with artists, fabricators, and consulting engineers Sharon directs teams to customize and integrate formal, material, and component- building systems into distinctive architectural solutions. 

Sharon is a graduate of Stanford University where she earned a B.A. in History & Art History. She earned her architectural degree at Harvard Design School (GSD), and she currently serves on the board of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects and LA>
