2015 marks ten years since Hurricane Katrina made landfall on the Gulf Coast of the United States, and Georgia Tech experts are using the anniversary to look at the state of disaster preparedness in the U.S. Dr. G. Wayne Clough, President Emeritus of Georgia Tech, served on a task force convened to examine the effects of Hurricane Katrina on the infrastructure of New Orleans. He discusses the lessons learned from Katrina and which cities are under the microscope when it comes to disaster readiness.
