There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. To help celebrate the centennial of architectural education at Georgia Tech, this year's students will participate in an esquisse (French for "sketch" or "outline") - a term loosely used in architecture universities to describe an exam or exercise.
Studio professors will be challenge their students to interpret The Next One-Hundred Years - and communicate their own vision of what the built environment should, could or might be.
The winners of the esquisse will be presented during an awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 4. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
