REVAMP program exposes students to advanced manufacturing

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute runs the  Research Experience for Student Veterans in Advanced Manufacturing and Entrepreneurship (REVAMP) program, which teaches undergraduate students the fundamental principles of advanced manufacturing science and technology. The program, which is funded by the National Science Foundation, targets veterans and underrepresented minorities from around the country. As part of the program, this year's 10 participants toured manufacutring plants, such as Lockheed Martin.
