The Lam Lab, headed by Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University faculty member Dr. Wilbur Lam, has received seed funding to advance their development of a low-cost diagnostic test for anemia.
AnemoCheck, developed by principal investigators Dr. Wilbur Lam and Erika Tyburski, is designed to be a simple, disposable, handheld biochemical device that is inexpensive, accurate and provides a quantitative evaluation of anemia in less than two minutes.
IEN congratulates Dr. Lam and Ms. Tyburski on their award!
