Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is the third largest telecommunications company in the world and is ranked 53rd in the Forbes’ Fortune Global 500 list.  NTT has a healthy and active relationship with Georgia Tech’s Global Internship program, recruiting 5+ GT students to intern in Tokyo each semester. 

Students planning to intern with NTT should have junior standing or higher and are suggested to have “survival Japanese” before arriving.  Typically, NTT looks for students of the following majors:  Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computational Media, Computer Engineering, and Materials Sciences.  Students should expect to intern at NTT for 8-12 months.
