There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is the third largest telecommunications company in the world and is ranked 53rd in the Forbes’ Fortune Global 500 list. NTT has a healthy and active relationship with Georgia Tech’s Global Internship program, recruiting 5+ GT students to intern in Tokyo each semester.
Students planning to intern with NTT should have junior standing or higher and are suggested to have “survival Japanese” before arriving. Typically, NTT looks for students of the following majors: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computational Media, Computer Engineering, and Materials Sciences. Students should expect to intern at NTT for 8-12 months.
