There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. AE Administrative Staff members Tiwanna Williams and Michelle Hall (L-R in the photo) along with Vivian Robinson - O'Neal, successfully completed the Georgia Tech CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) course on November 11.
The CERT course benefits any citizen who takes it - making them better prepared to respond to and cope with the aftermath of a disaster. Since 1993, when this training was made available nationally by FEMA, communities in 28 states and Puerto Rico have conducted CERT training.

The CERT course concluded with a drill at the old EPD building on 14th Street focusing on first aid, search and rescue, fire safety and triage.
