There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

This week, the Aware Home Research Initiative seminar will be held at the Health Systems Institute Building. Attendees will have an opportunity to see how robots will play a growing role in health and home in the future. In this tour of the Healthcare Robotics Lab (HRL) at the Health Systems Institute, you will see demos and videos of how robots are being used for various aspects of health — many of which are intended for the home environment.
The Aware Home Seminar Lunch is a weekly talk open to all students and faculty. It is intended to attract interest from multiple domains to the Aware Home Research Initiative and keep those already involved, informed of other research - typically related to the core areas of: health and wellness, future entertainment and communications, and sustainability in or related to the home.
Have a topic to share? Please contact brian.jones@imtc.gatech.edu. The Aware Home Seminar course is listed under CS 8001 AHS Spring and Fall semesters.
