There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This weekend, theCustom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) convention (www.cedia.net/expo) is taking place in the World Congress Center. This is THE show for integrators and industry in the smarthome, connected home, home entertainment space.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, we will have Aaron Kent, owner of DigitalHomescapes coming to speak at the seminar about integration of technologies in the home and buildings. He visited the aware home a couple years ago with some bold ideas and has since built up a visionary approach to the intelligence in homes and buildings - particularly around entertainment and green energy.
His company has been included in a $1B effort in Australia to rebuild the city of
Victoria with more intelligent building design. His product and company will provide the glue that integrates the many different systems that will need
to play together. He is very interested in an academic dialogue, so bring your questions!
