There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Professor Brian Gunter has joined the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech as a member of the Space System Design and Optimization Discipline Area.
Professor Gunter's specialties are in the areas of satellite geodesy, orbital mechanics, earth and planetary observation and high-performance computing. He comes to Georgia Tech from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where he was a faculty member in the Physical and Space Geodesy Group.
Professor Gunter earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University; and an MS & PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
