Professor Evangelos Theodorou has joined the faculty of the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech in the Flight Mechanics and Controls Disciplinary Area.
Professor Theodorou specializes in the areas of nonlinear Stochastic optimal control and estimation, robotics, control theory, reinforcement learning, and computational neuroscience.
Professor Theodorou earned his Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering and an MSc in Production Engineering from the Technical University of Crete (TUC), Greece. He earned an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MSc in Electrical Engineering on Dynamics and Controls at the University of Southern California (USC). He earned his PhD in Computer Science at USC.
Since earning his PhD, Dr. Theodorou has been a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle.
