Prof. Jeff Jagoda received the Most Valuable Professor Award from the AE Senior class at the Sigma Gamma Tau Banquet held on April 24 at the Georgia Tech Student Success Center. Professor Jagoda is Associate Chair for Graduate Programs and Research in AE; his research area is in Propulsion and Combustion. Prof. Jagoda is known for his tireless efforts on behalf of AE students. A line at his door is a frequent sight in AE.
There were approximately 60 seniors and their guests attending this year's banquet, along with a number of AE faculty members. AE Alumnus Steve Justice gave an excellent speech to the seniors.
The Senior Banquet is an annual event organized by the Sigma Gamma Tau organization. SGT officers David Dement (President, Sp 2013 graduating class), Joe Mattingly (President Elect) and Amanda Grubb (Vice President Elect) did a great job organizing the event with the able assistance of Ms. Vivian Robinson O'Neal.
