AE Students Awarded NSF Graduate Fellowship Awards 36 AE undergraduate students nationwide were awarded National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships – 5 of those awards will go to Georgia Tech Students. 4 undergraduates in AE plus 1 Mississippi State University undergrad who is now attending grad school in GTAE were awarded 2012 NSF graduate fellowship awards. William Cleveland, Jennifer Dowling, Jason Frieman, Julia Lundrigan and Lawrence Wong are students in the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech who are among the 36 nationwide NSF GFP recipients. Criteria for selecting students to receive an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship include Grade Point Average, participation in undergraduate research, papers/presentations, service, leadership and an essay the student writes in applying for the fellowship.
