There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dimitri Mavris and a research team at the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory (ASDL) are working with the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) through the Naval Engineering Education Center (NEEC) to expose NEEC students to real Navy challenges. After a successful review meeting in late March, the NEEC leadership chose to recognize the team’s work using advanced systems-of-systems analysis techniques for sea-based Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) studies. The research is being supervised by personnel from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Dahlgren, VA.
