There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Fulton County Citizens Commission on the Environment (FCCCE)recognized the Georgia Institute of Technology's Water Reclamation Center with the Fulton County Environmental Award for District 1 in the Best Development category.
The FCCCE sought nominations of development projects that exemplifyed environmentally-sound practices. The FCCCE nomination form indicated that the winner of the "Best Development Projects" category should demonstrate proactive and innovative best management practices, outstanding compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and conduct a self-assessment to determine any deficiencies, donate greenspace or perform onsite/offsite environmental mitigation, demonstrate commitment to exemplary environmental performance beyond what is required by law, incorporate greenspace and/or preservation of natural environment beyond that required by law, use natural resources responsibly by conserving resources and protecting wildlife habitats, and make superior and exemplary contributions to developer
