There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign on the Georgia Tech campus is part of a nationwide program to help less fortunate children have a happier holiday. IPST is adding to its support for the 10th year with a collection box in the building lobby.
Toy donations have grown each year, making this a successful community charity program. Toy donations this year will come from several groups in the IPST building, including the Center for Advance Communication Policy, Materials Science and Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Office of Emergency Preparedness and the Strategic Energy Initiative.
Unwrapped toys for boys and girls may be dropped off in the decorated box, and they will be taken to the central collection point for Georgia Tech. The collection point in the IPST building makes it easier for everyone to parti
