Summaries

Summary Sentence: Arts@Tech 2015-16 Season presents The Soul Rebels, bringing brass, soul and hip-hop from New Orleans.

Full Summary: This eight-piece New Orleans brass ensemble incorporates soul, jazz, funk, hip-hop, rock, and pop music in an eclectic live show that harnesses the power of horns and drums in the party-like atmosphere of a dance club. The Soul Rebels started with an idea between founding members Derrick Moss and Lumar LeBlanc to combine pop music with the New Orleans brass band tradition they grew up on.
