Spurlocks Ongoing Generosity Enables Semester Abroad

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. Gail and Barry Spurlock (ME 1965) presented a check for $50,000 this month to Professor Bettina Cothran for the Spurlock Study Abroad Scholarship Endowment Fund. Established in 2012 and endowed in perpetuity, the scholarships enable students enrolled in the German Program and German Languages for Business and Technology (LBAT) to study in Germany for a semester. The Fund resides in the Ivan Allen College School of Modern Languages.
