There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Students who are enrolled for summer classes have a variety of parking and transportation options available for Summer 2015. Here’s more information about prorated parking permits as well as the special reduced transit schedule.

Parking

Students who currently own 2014-15 annual parking permits may use them through August 14, 2015. Also, students may exchange their permits at no cost in the PTS office if they are moving to a new residence hall for the summer. All other exchanges require a $15 fee.

If students need new permits for the summer months, Parking and Transportation Services is currently selling them at prorated prices in the PTS office. To view the available parking zones, visit www.pts.gatech.edu and click Parking Permit Availability.

Normal parking regulations will be in effect during the summer. If students are leaving their cars on campus this summer, please call (404) 385-PARK to find alternate parking.

2015-16 Parking Permit Purchases

Students may purchase2015-2016 Annual Individual, Carpool, Evening/Weekend, SmartPark, and Motorcycle Permits at driverseat.gatech.edu.  Students will be required to pay any existing citation fines at before purchasing a permit.

Summer Transit Schedule

The summer reduced transit schedule will begin on Monday, May 4. Visit www.pts.gatech.edu to view the summer transit accommodations for the Stinger buses, Tech Trolleys, Weekend Grocery Shuttle, Emory Shuttle and Midnight Rambler.

Stingerette Nighttime Service will operate as normal. It will be available for rides between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. each night. Call 5-RIDE (404-385-7433) or visit www.stingerette.com to schedule a ride.
