There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Perron Jones Student SpotlightPerron Jones has reached the finish line.
He’ll walk across the stage at McCamish Pavilion tonight to accept his second Georgia Tech degree in as many years. The walk will be quite a contrast to his normal pace on campus. Just like one of his trademark sprints for the Yellow Jacket track and field team, Jones’ time at Tech has seemingly passed in mere seconds. But it’s how he filled those seconds that matters most.
