There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. Nancey Green Leigh, a professor of City and Regional Planning at the Georgia Institute of Technology's College of Architecture, testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, February 14, 2008.
Her remarks focused on the unintended consequences of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), and how brownfields affect prospects for urban revitalization.
