When studying for finals, it can sometimes be hard to find time to enjoy the last few weeks with friends before leaving for the summer.

But, for the next two weeks, organizations around campus are hosting events to encourage students to relax and have fun before the semester ends. Consider taking a study break by attending one of the following events.

Active Minds: Stress Less Week

The Active Minds club at Georgia Tech is a chapter of the nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the mental health of college students. Active Minds will be hosting Stress Less Week on Tech Walk during Dead Week. Stop by and pop some balloons and bubble wrap, learn about metal health, and of course, enjoy some candy. RSVP to the event through Facebook

Student Alumni Association’s (SAA) Dead Week Doughnuts

As has become tradition, SAA will pass out free doughnuts in the Clough Commons and Library on April 22 from 9 to 10 p.m. Grab one before they're gone.

PAWS@GT

The Library will host therapy dogs on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24, to give students a chance to pet a furry friend during a stressful week.

Student Center Programs Council: Midnight Breakfast

Breakfast will be served in the Student Center Food court beginning at 10 p.m. on April 28. The event is free, and tickets can be reserved online. (Get yours soon — it's usually a sell-out.)

Student Center Programs Council: Relaxation Fest

This event will be on the third floor of the Student Center from 7 to 10 p.m. on April 28. There will be movies, crafts, yoga, and free massages.

Free Fitness Classes

Each semester, the Campus Recreation Center GIT FIT classes are free during finals week. Exercising is a great stress reliever, so stay updated through the CRC Facebook page to see the finals week class schedule.

For Graduating Seniors

For graduating seniors, there are a few special events to celebrate graduation and make the last few weeks as an undergraduate especially memorable.

Alumni Association’s Ramblin’ On

Ramblin’ On is a campuswide graduation party and is free for all seniors graduating anytime in 2015. The event will take place April 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Attendees will enjoy a barbecue dinner and Italian ice, a free T-shirt, photo booth pictures and photos with the Wreck, and a fireworks show. SAA members can bring a guest for free, and non-SAA members are invited to bring a guest for $5. Register online by April 21 to be guaranteed a T-shirt.

SGA Senior Night at the Braves Game

The Student Government Association is hosting a Braves Night where 2015 graduates can get a free ticket to the Braves vs. Reds game on April 30. Shuttles will run from Bobby Dodd Stadium and Turner Field from 5 to 11 p.m. Reserve a ticket online, and pick it up at the tailgate before the game.

SGA Last Brunch at Brittain

Remember all those breakfasts at Brittain Dining Hall during freshman year? Spring 2015 graduates are invited to relive their first days on campus with a free last brunch at Brittain on May 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reserve a ticket online.
