There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. In this final meeting of the series on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fifth Assessment Report, policy experts will discuss how the US national and regional climate policy integrates into the current international climate negotiations. This year, in December, the UNFCCC Conference of Parties (COP) is expected to provide indications on the global climate regime after 2020. The CEPL is proud to host a high-level panel of experts to discuss the challenges and the opportunities for US climate policy ahead of the Paris 2015 COP.
The Climate and Energy Policy Laboratory (CEPL) of the School of Public Policy at Georgia Tech has organized this seminar as a series of five meetings to provide objective, accurate and updated information to understand the key messages of the Report and its implications for the ongoing climate negotiations.
