The featured speaker will be Dr. William Cooper, Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at WellStar Health System. Other speakers include Dr. Brad Fain, Principal Research Scientist with Georgia Institute of Technology, who will address technology in the home; Bob Carr from Common Courtesy & representatives from Uber will discuss the role of technology as relates to securing transportation; and a panel of medical experts from WellStar will answer audience questions: Dr. Eric Podchaski, Dr. Jeffrey Stone and Kam Sooknanan.

An EXPO (formerly titled Information Fair) will be held concurrently with the Summit in the adjacent ballroom, with more than 90 local businesses providing information on retirement planning, fitness, housing options, and more.  Additionally, there will be several opportunities for free screenings in areas such as blood glucose, cholesterol, body mass index (BMI) and others.  Demonstrations on healthy cooking and easy-yet important-exercises will also be part of the EXPO.
