Full Summary: The Southeastern Biosafety Association will be hosting their 2015 Annual Biosafety Symposium at Georgia Tech on May 14-15, 2015. 

During the Southeastern Biosafety Symposium, Dr. Mark Prausnitz from the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering will present his innovative research on micro-needle development for vaccine and therapeutic agent delivery. The symposium will also feature presentations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Etiologic Agent Import Permit Program and Biosafety Management Systems. Plus, Dr. Ian Crozier, from the World Health Organization, will present on his perspective of the Ebola epidemic as an Ebola survivor.

The cost of attendance for both days is $25 for SEBSA members and $50 for other attendees. The Georgia Tech Environmental Health and Safety team’s Biosafety Office is coordinating this event.
