Forbes magazine recently released its fourth annual list of 30-under-30, what the magazine calls, “today’s greatest gathering of young game changers, movers and makers.” This year’s edition features 600 millennials in 20 different fields – 30-under-30 in each, and Partha Unnava, CEO of Better Walk, was named in the manufacturing and industry category.

Hear about his experiences at the Manufacturing Luncheon Seminar Series on April 13, 2015, at the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute.

Partha Unnava began his career as a biomedical engineering student at Georgia Tech. After breaking his ankle and spending six weeks on crutches, he realized there had to be a better way to move around on an injured limb. This led to him starting his first company, Better Walk.

Partha has raised venture and angel funding, spoken at conferences and radio shows on healthcare and entrepreneurial innovation, and even been to the White House to present Better Walk to President Obama. He was named in the Manufacturing category of the 2015 Forbes 30 Under 30 List.

In his free time, Partha teaches entrepreneurship at the Startup Semester program at Georgia Tech, helps build and scale other businesses, and plays club level ultimate frisbee.
