Summaries

Summary Sentence: Join us as we brainstorm ways to engage supporters and donors in CARE's life-saving work.

Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

CARE is the largest, most well-established and hugely respected development organization you’ve maybe never heard of. Or maybe you have. Have you ever given or received a “care package?” CARE created the first CARE Packages in 1945 when it was founded to deliver relief in the form of blankets, non-perishable foods, seeds and other items to war-torn Europe.

Over the past 70 years, CARE’s way of working has changed from delivering packages of goods, to helping people learn the skills to create sustainable change. Today CARE places special focus on working alongside poor girls and women because, equipped with the proper resources, they have the power to lift whole families and entire communities out of poverty. Last year CARE worked in 87 countries and reached more than 97 million people around the world.

So why is CARE joining the Think Tank? We want YOU to help brainstorm ways to engage supporters and donors in CARE's life-saving work.
