Full Summary: Defining unmet clinical needs: Communication between clinicians and technical professionals

Many healthcare challenges are interdisciplinary, requiring clinical, design and engineering expertise to develop appropriate solutions. Collaboration between clinicians and technical professionals is key to developing these solutions, and yet opportunities for improving cross-disciplinary communication have often been limited.

To address this, Forge and the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation will co-host the next Digital Health Bootcamp on effective communication between clinicians, engineers and designers. Key takeaways will include how to 1) ask the right questions and evaluate information, 2) transition from a clinical problem to the development of design criteria in a solution, and 3) balance clinical and technical considerations throughout the design process. The workshop will be very interactive, with case studies and class discussion. Breakfast will be provided.

RSVP to attend.
