Opportunity: Community of Practice for Health Impact Assessment

Applications deadline: April 15th, 5:00 PM EST

In partnership with Health Impact Project, the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is pleased to accept applications for the Community of Practice (CoP) for Health Impact Assessment (HIA). NACCHO has a long history of supporting the use of HIA at local health departments. This initiative seeks to continue fostering HIA practice and leadership among local health department-based HIA practitioners.

The CoP will be made up of local health department-based HIA practitioners from across the country. The aim of the group is to advance HIAs among local health departments by providing a peer-to-peer collaborative environment to connect practitioners, sharing relevant HIA information and innovative models of practice and lessons learned, and increasing access to technical assistance and other educational information or skill-building opportunities.

For more information about this opportunity and how to apply, please visit NACCHO’s HIA webpage at http://www.naccho.org/topics/environmental/health-impact-assessment/index.cfm
