Enjoy a Local Spring Break on a Budget

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Students will get a break from classes next week for the Institute’s spring break, which takes place March 16 – 20.

Though many people will travel for the break, there are a variety of events for those on a budget who stay in Atlanta.

  • Phoenix Flies: The Atlanta Preservation Center’s annual Phoenix Flies festival helps Atlantans learn about historic places and spaces in the city. Events are free and take place all over Atlanta. See a full event schedule here.
