There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

What does the pulse of a major pedestrian area in the metro region sound like? Georgia Tech computer scientists and musicians placed a system of sensors along Decatur to collect real-time data about environmental conditions and human activities/influences. Come interact with the electronics used and a dashboard application allowing users to explore the data through both visualizations and sounds. A group of professional musicians, Sonic Generator, will also provide their artistic interpretation of the real-time data live in a musical performance at 12:30pm.
